Ok, well this board tends to focus on a bit more IRL panic than /cy/ so I thought I'd bring the tone up a bit and ask for /apoc/'s favourite novels... Obviously there's a lot out there with so many subtypes of world-ending events, but I'm quite partial to Oryx and Crake (and the Year of the Flood), with the biological manipulation goes wrong angle.
There are also some novels that deal with the longer term survival, such as... well I can't remember the name, but it follows many generations culminating with the grandchildren deifying the last remaining 'American' as they return to tribalism. Very interesting, as it deals with the earth taking back civilisation.
