Over the months I’ve received emails asking for specific boards to be added, as well as emails and board posts complaining about the lack of posting. I’d like to address both at the same time while giving some traffic stats

I’ve added a link to the Random Image Viewer, as well as every board, which refreshes the page when clicked. This should make life easier when checking for page updates. The link uses Javascript and I’ve tested IE 6 and Firefox 2, so they should work. If not, leave a comment in this post and I’ll see what I can do
On the various boards the link appears in the list of short messages underneath the posting box. Also, I’ve decreased the boards shown by the RIV from 9 to 6 in an effort to spare the MySQL database. Similarly, I’ll remove the refresh links if they start harming site performance. Especially with the RIV, lol
That’s right, I’ve finally gotten off my arse and created a blog for Megachan. Now, you guys can actually comment on the boring shit I put on the front page! I’ll be posting some of the old posts as well, just to make the main page seem less empty (lol).
Also, I’m aware that the h2 tag isn’t displaying properly on the pages (About, Rules, etc). It’s a problem with the CSS and the way Wordpress does things. I’ll fix it sometime, it’s not a biggie right now. Also, the template is not 100% done yet, but its close enough so I’m happy Probably gonna add in a header image or something…
Well, a guy from Japan had been starting a few threads some of the boards with Depositfile links in them. I left most of them alone as I thought it was the usual stuff (hentai), but Anonymous thankfully came out of lurking and posted a warning about it - thanks 
Seems the poster was trying to make some buxx - he got paid for every dl. Well, as you can see I removed the content but I left the thread - not only so that others would be made aware of it, but also because Anonymous kindly posted the rapidshare links Thanks, Anonymous It’s nice to see that not everyone here is a lurker 
Ive also added a Depositfile links to the list of banned words.
Speaking of /e/, it gets the most traffic other than the homepage (gee, what a surprise :P), but overall it is also one of the quietest. I honestly thought that there’d be more posting, however I guess people are too busy fapping to Rangiku to really post anything (this thread gets more hits than any other, by far).
Anyway, that’s all from me for now. Enjoy the boards and don’t just lurk - post some [relevant] stuff!

Some of you may have noticed, but some dick from the Ukraine (judging by his IP) was spamming some of the boards. His ass has been banned.
Anyway, he made his way in from 2ch.us. Seems I was added to the list The site traffic has risen from 2176 visitors last month (the highest) to 2800+ this month (and its only the 20th!). Since the 14th (Im guessing that’s when Megachan was listed) the site has seen an increase in traffic by 300-400 visitors a day at least.

This is actually good timing, as I’m busy looking for a new hosting company, one that’ll allow adult content. Ive eyeing one right now, however I’m waiting for a reply to my questions about the bandwidth usage.
