This was sort of interesting. Obviously don't hold your breath to increase wifi signal, that's stupid, but definitely shows just how sensitive it is.
Also, 'news' thread for loose links that don't fit anywhere else?
Way to go OP... like 24/7 internet addicts need more excuses not to get off their asses and burn calories.

BE A MINDSTICKER
I don't need to be a mindsticker, I just use my Turbo Pascal to take them out of this world.
Everything posted on this board is bullshit of the most impressive degree.
I can't see them making a new series. I think they knew the movie was the end, however prematurely it came. It's just that... I can't see them going back to their old ways of robbing from the rich and selling to the poor after becoming galactic heroes for unearthing the truth about Miranda and all that. The low profile they enjoyed was blown by that escapade I think.
I'd like to see a spinoff show of some sort though.
I dunno. It's a core tenant of science fiction that no good deed goes unpunished. Who'd reward them for what they did? It might lead to a few better business deals, but at the end of the day, the core worlds will still be gunning for them, and they will still need work.
True this. Or, at best, the war would start back up again. A series where the Serenity acted as couriers for the Browncoats, doing the odd black ops mission on the side, would be pretty good actually, and would certainly present tensions between Jayne and Mal, Jayne wanting to be paid, Mal wanting to do good...
Also, I can't be the only person that preferred the sets from the tv series to those in Serenity? The engine room in Serenity, especially, was really devoid of personality, whereas in the tv show it might have been less realistic, but a lot more tactile seeming...
I think I might have a problem/???. If any of you guys have ever heard about poliphasic sleeping, I found it fascinating. Decided to get into it a litte bit and branch out sleep times. Well.. Something pretty strange has been happening to me. I've been taking an afternoon one hour (or so) nap for awhile. Beside anything I've just said, I am a fan of lucid dreams. Lucid dreams are ... indescribable. The shear notion of learning you are inside your own dream, then .. well, control everything. It is truly a blessed experience.
Anyway, beyond those notions. I think i may have been having visions of close future events. Usually only pertaining to my own life. Also, I think it might be having an effect on my day-to-day personality.
Normally, (throughout the night) I wouldn't be able to remember my dreams (unless they were really cool, meaning beyond abnormal). But, during these 1-2 hour session of DreamSleep, the dreams are vivid and almost as real as this reality.
I love lucid dreams, actually, I try to remember most all dreams. Well, ANiWEiGH, I had a dream about someone I haven't seen for a pretty long time. The dream was about .. well .. seeing this person again. Tonight, it happened.
Dreams are soo ungraspable sometimes.
Does anyone else take their dreams to heart?
Why limit yourself to one or the other? Stardust the Kneecapper, bringing love, understanding and lashing of pain.
>bringing love, understanding and lashing of pain
Just not necessarily in that order
I've kept one for as long as I can remember. It helps because of all the details of dreams that you lose within minutes of waking up. Also the routine itself helps to make your dreams seem more important, therefore easier to remember. The more religiously I keep the journal, the more vivid and complex are my dreams. I read once that physical movement makes your dreams fade more quickly for some reason, so it helps to keep the journal right by your bedside.
You know what's annoying? Waking up, spending five minutes writing down my dreams, then actually waking up and realizing that I only dreamed I was writing and I have to do it all over again. This might happen 3 or 4 times in one morning before I actually wake up for real.
I'm a regular poster on here. This isn't 4chan so maybe people here will be mature and intelligent about what I am about to say.
There is a lot of discussion about white people/blue eyed people/blond people going "extinct" and I wonder if I am the only non-racist, reasonable person that this bothers. To clear it up; I am blond and have blue eyes but I think the fact that it bothers me has more to do with the possible loss in diversity of the human species. Before anyone start saying "stormfag" know that I don't have any problem with what they call "race mixing" and I would do it if i found the right person. I am proud of my heritage but don't think it is superior to anyone else. I would feel the same way if any other "group" of people were being fazed out.
Can anyone here relate?
Well apparently that poster is real. I have a hard time believing it...
And yea, is there a lot more observation in the UK than you were previously used to? I sometimes forget my every move is watched, I'm so used to it.
No, I'm sure that it's real, I've seen a few others like it.
In SA, the police barely have enough budget to buy stationary, let alone city-wide security cameras
Creepy as fuck.
I have this tinfoil hat theory that 1984 wasn't a warning for the masses to heed (because they won't listen anyway for the most part) but a blueprint for the ruling class to follow. Case in point, that poster.
I think it would be cool if we got a lot more traffic. Any thoughts bros?
I think I have noticed more traffic lately. Maybe now that the site doesn't look like vomit.
No, the site has been getting the same amount of traffic, but the pageviews for the home page have gone up a lot. Everyone's hitting F5 to see more random pictures, hah
I know I've been doing that. :3
I got money to burn.
good camera pics
yeah pretty much any bazaar in any chinatown will have a section, just try going to the ones were only locals shop and not tourists.
so i have to go see a psychologist tomorrow. I've never talked to one before. What should I be afraid of?
Look up the word "lobotomy." That's what you'll get if he thinks you're a little bit too strange for his tastes.
Judging by your question, I assume it wasn't your decision? A psychologist can't prescribe drugs if that's what you're worried about (unless you meant to say "psychiatrist").
They'll just ask a bunch of questions, to get an idea if you might fit a particular diagnosis. If its a real busy place they might have you answer questions on paper, like by rating your feelings about different things from 1 - 5 or something. They aren't going to slap a diagnosis on you after one visit though.
lol first thing they asked is if i had health insurance
Just thought I'd say hi. :3
So, while trying to wrap my head around quantum theory my brain proved that we as humans are no more than mere computers. It did so by freezing up in such a way that computers are known to do and I'm pretty sure that at that moment my pupils were replaced by small turning hour glasses. Luckily, in order to save me from my plight a lady friend enacted the human machine equivalent of Ctrl+Alt=Delete in the form of playing this video for me. I had to share it.
wow tick tock.. that was some stupid imagery
If you have a better way of describing a symphonic explanation of the basic principals of quantum physics that begins with Morgan Freeman I'm all ears... also I just finished The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy so i'm stuck in incoherent dry British humor mode.
Gech. Autotune. It's like bullets for your eardrums.
Mr. Freeman is pretty badass, though.
